War, a curse or a leap in consciousness?
We live in times of war again
People are complaining. We have to stop the war ASAP. War is dreadful, bad for the economy, and oh man, those awful atrocities, we do not feel safe anymore.
True. It is a curse, but as long as there are leaders in this World, with their ideas of concurring neighbors who seem to do better, or have illusions of historical restoring balance or need others possessions to survive, there will be war.
But history shows that war also brings development.
Look at what WW2 delivered to us. Computers and GSM's in the end. Better planes, medical developments, art, clothing, furniture, home devices, weapons, lifestyle, international alliances, traveling, and a lot more.
But what I want to talk about is the new role of men and women.
When men were fighting on the front, ladies (and children) had to do the work back home. Life changed and women proved to be capable of doing anything. They worked for the army, and in factories, farms, technical jobs, etc.
In the war in Ukraine, you see a lot of female soldiers. Maybe not everyone is happy with that, maybe it's a choice under pressure. But I see also a development. A good one.
More women are soldiers now. They take responsibility for the safety of their country. And that's good. I believe men and women have to share equally the tasks needed to be fulfilled in a country at war and defend their ground. But I believe the same should continue in the future when war is over.
I believe the World would become a better place if men and women see each other as equal coworkers to do what has to be done.
I believe men and women should not see each other as an opportunity to fill in their blanks or their desires. We need to do that for ourselves, that's our own responsibility in life.
We need to become free individuals who choose to contribute to this world without restrictions, and without obligations to fulfill the desires of other human beings. Only by a free choice, it will be worth something.
That's why I hate the words "marital duties" or something similar. You make your own agreements in your relationship or connection of choice.
Relations should be grounded in maturity.
Maturity means: you pick up your duties anyway, but you know the balance between doing your duties and relaxing and leisure. And you respect your partner, your colleagues, family, and friends, believing in their value as they are, equally to the value you know about yourself.
So religions must not be used for measuring freedom to each other. That's the most evil thing in this world. Satan doesn't dwell in freedom. The Devil is the big oppressor in our soul, the one who makes us anxious for the power of others.
This needs a leap of consciousness!
Meditation should be a part of education all over the World.
